WELCOME TO THE X2-ARCHIVE!
X2-archive is a collection of programming related material. Our main
emphasis has been on the msdos game programming scene, but hopefully
our scope will expand further beyond msdos in near future.
All material herein have been carefully selected to aid a programmer
to create something new. We have preferred documents and source code
over typical binary distributions to avoid becoming yet another
PD/Shareware museum.
We have checked and rechecked all material herein but errors and
mistakes are destined to lurk somewhere in a dark corner hidden from
our eyes, waiting for you to discover them.

All MSDOS uploads shall be sent via FTP to the /pub/incoming/msdos
-directory, alternatively referred as /pub/msdos/incoming.

CD-ROM
The X2 collection will be released on a CD-ROM in about 6 to 12 months interval.
The X2 msdos programming archive has been published on CD-ROM in Summer 1995.

errors or find material obloteted within the X2 Archive.
[ In case you are using mail address on the most famous Internet Spammer sites,
like juno.com, yahoo.com or hotmail.com (not the HotMail, but the japanese
phone-sex company with the same name) and you have problems in contacting the
admin group, you may consider changing to some better reputated mail server.
We do try to weed out any mis-hits, though. :-) ]
