These include a leasing program available to resellers offered through Sun Microsystems Finance, Inc., contract guarantee insurance, a campus representative program and a support package. With the 77,000-square-foot addition, SMCC's investment in its plant in Scotland's "Silicon Glen" now totals $62 million. One hundred additional workers have been added to the enlarged plant, for a total of 450. This is the company's third manufacturing and supply facility and the first outside the United States. It was opened in September 1990.
