With this latest version of SunSolve Online, customers can easily FTP any size patch over the Internet for much faster resolution of their problems. Provided to all SunSpectrum(SM) contract customers, SunSolve Online is updated nightly and contains the most current support information from the Sun Solution Center, including common questions and answers, technical notes and bug and patch descriptions. A: SunSolve Online is provided to all SunService contract customers and is a feature of the SunSpectrum support programs. It is not sold as a separate product. Q: Will customers who currently get SunSolve CD continue to receive it? A: Yes, SunSolve CD will continue to be shipped to service contract customers, who have additional access to SunSolve Online. Q: What is the difference between SunSolve Online and SunSolve CD? A: SunSolve Online is updated nightly and contains the most current support information from the Sun Solution Center. It is available through the Internet or through a modem via SprintNet. SunSolve CD is updated and sent to SunService contract customers every quarter and has faster access times as well as a very powerful Graphics User Interface (GUI). Q: Can EarlyNotifier be accessed via SunSolve Online? A: Yes, EarlyNotifier is part of SunSolve Online and contains information that should be brought to the customers immediate attention. Q: Is SunSolve Online available worldwide? A: Yes, SunSolve Online is available in Europe and Japan via modem. The FTP patch process is not available at this time.
