"Competitive printer products in this price range often require customers to purchase additional cards, software, cables or memory. The CCL400R is shipped ready to go. Also, due to its high-speed SCSI interface and NeWSprint software, its performance can be as much as five times greater than that of competitive models." NeWSprint Software offers Sun customers convenient PostScript(R) language compatible printing based on the Solaris(R) operating environment. The CCL400R provides Custom NeWSprint tool software, which is designed to utilize the complete functionality of the printer so the user can easily select paper size and paper tray, and easily drag and drop print job submissions on the screen rather than going to a command tool to type in a print command. The printer comes standard with a Multi-Purpose Tray that can hold 70 sheets of paper. An optional cassette capable of holding 250 sheets is also available. SunExpress' U.S. List price for the CCL400R Printer is $1,495 with volume discounts offered.
