These new technologies provide clean and efficient support for concurrent computing activities. Sunergy #6 will explore this topic from a both a hardware and a software perspective. This technically detailed broadcast will focus on the Solaris multithreaded kernal, tools & compilers and Sun's multiprocessing hardware. Included will be the benefits of MP and the MP/MT roadmap. Also presented will be a Sun news segment giving an overview of some important recent events. The program will conclude with a question and answer session.
