56.23   SPARCclassic X is now available from SunExpress
        - SunExpress now offers quick delivery and pre-sales technical
          support for all color SPARCclassic X configurations.
        - SPARCclassic X is available through SunExpress telesales
          operations in North America and Europe.
        - SunExpress End User pricing will be consistent with SMCC pricing.
        - SunExpress is promoting the SPARCclassic X via a direct mail
          campaign in August and the SunExpress catalog in September.

SunExpress is pleased to announce the addition of the SPARCclassic X to
the SunExpress product offering. Sun customers can now buy the
innovative new Sun X-Terminal with all of the additional benefits of
SunExpress -- knowledgeable telesales and pre-sales technical support
teams, our innovative FAXInfo system, AND quick delivery.

SunExpress will offer all of the color SPARCclassic X configurations --
the grayscale configuration is not planned at this point in time.  We
will also offer both the 4-Mbyte and 8-Mbyte SPARCclassic X to
SPARCclassic workstation upgrades.

The SPARCclassic X will be priced in the SunExpress catalog exactly
as it is listed in the SMCC end user price book. We will offer both
Quantity 1-11 and 12-pack pricing for End Users.

Over 95% of all orders placed with SunExpress before 2:00 PM ship
the same day.


U.S. PRICING, ORDERING AND DELIVERY INFORMATION

SunExpress will offer quantity 1-11 and 12-pack End User pricing for
SPARCclassic X. The SunExpress pricing is identical to the SMCC End User
pricing.

SunExpress will offer a special price for Education and Catalyst
customers for the SPARCclassic X. Education and Catalyst customers
should contact SunExpress telesales at 800-USE-SUNX for details.

SPARCclassic X is available for immediate delivery.

The September issue of the SunExpress catalog will feature SPARCclassic X.
