This is a message from the Oracle person that manages the Sun/Oracle

Just a quick reminder to let you know that Oracle is shipping
production level software for SPARCsystems 600 series with MP features
(including "spinlocks" db latching mechanism found in other ORACLE MP
ports).  This new version is being shipped today from Oracle with every
Sun order.

If for some reason the word hasn't made it out to a few of our existing
Sun-Oracle customers that this patch exists, please let our customers
know that even though future upgrades shipped to them will have the
patch they can special request the patch today directly from Oracle
customer support.  They should just ask for "the MP patch".
