This will provide a handier format for those seeking SBus related consulting services. (ii) The criterion for inclusion has been tightened so that only products on the verge of shipment have been included. There are currently over 260 SBus cards listed from more than 100 vendors. All products are either currently shipping or will ship within approximately three months. (These figures do not include enabling hardware or silicon.) There have been approximately 35 new SBus cards since the July 31st SBus List. Approximately 30 more cards are currently under development. A list of known SBus products available (or soon to be) is attached. This listing does not represent all SBus projects under development. It includes only those vendors who have authorized Sun to make their projects know. If you have customers (end users or OEMs) with product requirements different from what you see below, please forward those requirments to Harold Sonenklar with as much information as possible (customer contact, specific requirments, etc.) Similarly, if you are aware of existing SBus products that you do not see on the list, or you are aware of SBus products under development, please forward any information you have so that I can maintain an accurate listing. Sun Microsystems Comptuer Corporation (SMCC) makes no recommendation as to the suitability of a product from a particular vendor for a given application. SMCC has not qualified or reviewed any claims made about the product features or functions, nor is SMCC responsible for their accuracy. No SBus vendor is authorized to act as an agent of SMCC or to commit SMCC in any way con- cerning SMCC products and their functionality, availability, or price. Synetics Corp. (ne'e VMElaboratories) and SPARC International offer independent testing and branding for SBus products to assure buyers of compliance with the SBus specification and compatibility across multiple SPARC compliant systems, respectively. The Synetics program will begin in the second quarter. The SPARC International program has already begun. SPARC International may be reached at (415) 321-8692.
