This program will be broadcast from the SunWorld Expo in Tokyo on August 25 at 6:30pm PDT. The late hour is due to the fact that the show is being downlinked throughout Japan. TEST: 5:30-6:30 pm PDT PROGRAM: 6:30-8:00 pm PDT SATELLITE: SBS6 TRANSPONDER: #8 POLARITY: Vertical VIDEO FREQUENCY: 11896.5 AUDIO FREQUENCY: 6.8 & 6.2 For those of you with equipment in place, we recommend a pre-test during the week of August 17. Look for a signal on transponder 8V first. If you don't see one there, try another one of the transponders adjacent to 8V between 4V and 14V. There's bound to be a signal on one of these transponder any given day. If your signal is clean on these transponders, it should be clean on 8V. THIS TEST SHOULD INCLUDE THE RECEIVER, THE PROJECTION EQUIPMENT OR MONITORS AND VCR (IF YOU PLAN ON RECORDING OFF THE AIR). IF YOU ARE RENTING EQUIPMENT, IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT IT BE SET UP AND TESTED ON THE DAY BEFORE THE BROADCAST. DON'T FORGET TO TEST THE TELEPHONE! All US sites are encouraged to call in before or during the Question and Answer session. We will send you the phone number when it is assigned. US calls will be directed to a domestic phone number and forwarded to Tokyo by our phone-room staff for translation. You will NOT incur international phone charges.
