Blueberry Filtrix Product 


THE PROGRAM

Blueberry's Filtrix translates data among various application
program formats. It runs under SunView, requires SunOS 3.2 or later,
and is available for Sun 2, 3, 386i, and 4.

     Filtrix is easy to install and use, does not require
programming experience, and is designed for use by administrative
personnel. A user need only know the names of host and target
application programs and identify the files to be translated.

     The program assumes that data from various source operating
systems and application programs is present on the Unix machine on
which it is installed. In other words, Filtrix assumes data
transport has already taken place when it is invoked, and does not
itself directly address SCSI devices or networks.

     The program imports the following formats--

DCA/RFT
DisplayWrite 2, 3, and 4
Executive Writer
Interleaf
Leading Edge
Microsoft Word
Multimate
OfficeWriter
PC-Write
PFS:Write
PFS:Professional
Q&A Write
Samna
Spellbinder
SunWrite
Volkswriter
WordPerfect 4.2
WordPerfect 5.0
WordStar
WordStar 2000
XyWrite


     And converts them into any of these formats--

DCA/RFT
Interleaf
SunWrite
WordPerfect 4.2


As an example, Multimate or DisplayWrite files can be translated into
DCA/RFT, Interleaf, SunWrite, or WordPerfect 4.2 format, but Multimate files
cannot be translated into DisplayWrite format or vice versa.

     Data may be moved among DCA/RFT, Interleaf, SunWrite, and WordPerfect 4.2
formats.


PRICING

The price for a single unit is $429. The price for ten units to a
site is $3000. Additional units beyond the initial ten to a site
cost $300 each. Volume discounts are available.
