Any other special or non-generic installation instructions should be described below as special instructions. The following example installs a patch to a standalone machine: example# patchadd /var/spool/patch/104945-02 The following example removes a patch from a standalone system: example# patchrm 104945-02 For additional examples please see the appropriate man pages. Special Install Instructions: ----------------------------- NOTE: This patch cannot be reapplied if it is removed. Once the patch is removed via patchrm do not re-apply it using patchadd. Redeploy the war file into the Identity Server web container for the patches to take effect. Note that for some of the bug fixes to take effect you must make ldap changes to the user/group LDAP directory. An ldif file with the ldap changes is located under /install/patch//commcli.mod.ldif Please use ldapmodify to apply the change to your user/group directory. If you wish to backout the ldap changes, an ldif file is provided for that purpose at: /install/patch//commcli.revert.ldif Please consult the release notes on the world wide web at the following URL: http://docs.sun.com/db/doc/817-5035-10 README -- Last modified date: Wednesday, June 2, 2004
