Problem Description:

The probe can consume high cpu duty cycles for 
extended amounts of time when the number of disks are 
very high, for example in SAN environments
 
Fix:
 
  1. Lower execution priority for probe using a suitable nice
     value.
  2. Faster disk probing routines.
