	SunExpress, Inc., the direct marketing subsidiary of Sun
	Microsystems, Inc., announced that it is the first, and
	currently the only sales channel for Sun(TM) Tuner.  Sun Tuner
	provides access to broadcast and cable channels from Sun
	workstations as part of an overall desktop multimedia
	solution.  For example, traders in a major brokerage house
	using Sun Tuner can switch between CNN and in-house broadcast
	financial analysis to monitor breaking news for critical
	business decisions.

 Sun Tuner Lets Users Receive Broadcast and Cable TV on Workstations


"SunExpress was selected to sell this product because we were looking
for a way to quickly fulfill the customer demand we anticipate for Sun
Tuner based on excellent response from test sites.  We knew customers

Sun Tuner is a low-cost peripheral that enables users to tune and
select television channels directly from a computer for immediate
access to the latest information.  All VHF, UHF and cable channels can
be tuned in with an easy-to-use graphical user interface.  Combined
with the Sun Video card or other video capture cards marketed by
SunExpress, the Sun Tuner and its graphical user interface allows users
to take advantage of live broadcast video in multimedia applications.
The GUI supports Solaris 1 and Solaris 2 running on Sun/SPARC
platforms.  Sun Tuner is priced at $299 and is currently available in
North America.
