	New sunflash sub-lists have been created to ease the
	administration of the SunFlash mailing list. 
	The solar.nova.edu ftp server is being renamed draco.nova.edu.

New mail aliases on sunvice
---------------------------
	Names of mail alias from sunvice to change

I maintain a number of mail alias files on my mail server
(sunvice.East.Sun.COM). I generally prefer that local Sun offices also
maintain alias files for their local SunFlash subscribers.

As the SunFlash subscription base has grown, so too have the number of
subscribers directly in my alias files.  Over time, I have broken my
alias files into smaller files - often based upon geography. As those
files are still quite large, I am breaking them into smaller files. The
smaller files are mainly based upon geography and domain or
organization name.

Many SunFlash subscribers will see mail headers like this:

	sunflash-Distributed to mailing list LIST
	sunflash-Send requests and problem reports to OWNER

where LIST is the name of the mailing list on my system and 
OWNER is the name of the person responsible for that mailing list.

If you want to be removed from the main sunflash alias or from a
sunflash sub-list, send mail to the OWNER alias listed in the sunflash
articles that you get.

Owner-SunFlash Aliases
----------------------

I would like to post sunflash messages to the mail sub-lists with the
"From: " field set to the OWNER of that sub-list. As I am the actual
sender of the messages, I would like permission from the various OWNERs
to set the "From: " field to their accounts. I will send separate
messages to the OWNERs asking for permission.

New archive server
------------------

The main SunFlash archive server, solar.nova,edu, is being renamed
on August 2nd to draco.nova.edu. For those people who mirror
solar.nova.edu, please change your scripts on August 2nd

New Articles
============

I will be posting 4 articles to the new aliases later today
(Thu Jul 29 EDT 1993). They are:
