Announcing the May 1990 Sun Catalyst Porting Reference Guide

Sun Microsystems has just released the revised Sun Catalyst
Porting Reference Guide which has been distributed and is available from
Sales Offices worldwide.

The Sun Catalyst Porting Reference Guide paints a comprehensive
overview of Sun's entire platform product line while explaining porting
strategies and future directions of Sun's OS, networking, languages,
graphics, window system, and hardware architecture. This third edition
builds on the previous May 1989 release by including additional
information on the latest releases and Sun's product strategy on the
above platform products.  

This includes updated information on OS, Networking, Windowing,
Hardware, graphics and other products in addition to a chapter on
internationalization.  In addition we have expanded the appendicies to
include information on domestic and international standards which the
Sun product line conforms.

A small initial distribution is being made to all Sales offices worldwide.
