		SunCD Drive Promotion Update

On May 15th, a special CD-ROM promotion program was announced which
enables customers to receive a free SunOS 4.1 on CD media for each
SunCD Drive which is purchased (US pricing: $995 - Discount Category A)
between May 15th and August 31, 1990.  Purchasing a SunCD drive also
entitles the customer to a 50% discount on the SunOS 4.1 upgrade RTU
license (US pricing: $350 nondiscountable).

The ordering process is very simple for the SunCD Promotion. You should
include ONLY the Order Number for the SunCD drive on the Sales Order.
A free SunOS 4.1 on CD will AUTOMATICALLY ship with the SunCD drive.  A
SunOS RTU must be ordered for each workstation that is not licensed to
run SunOS 4.1.

The RTU Order Number (USX-CDPROMO) should be included on the Sales
Order with the SunCD drive.  If the system is already under a software
support contract (Personal AnswerLine, AnswerLine or Software Update
Service), the purchase of an Upgrade RTU is not required, just include
the customer's contract ID and the name and signature of the local
Service Representative.
