According to AT&T and Sun, the fast-growing support of OPEN LOOK by ISVs and hardware and system software vendors has made OPEN LOOK the industry's leading UNIX graphical user interface. OPEN LOOK is the GUI bundled with UNIX(R) System V Release 4.0. The vendors are: Bristol Group Ltd., Conceptual Structures, Digital Solutions Inc., Elan Computer Group Inc., Entropic Speech Inc., Expert Object Corp., FICOR, Georgetown University/Department of Radiology, Graphic Software Systems Inc., H.T. Both AT&T and Sun support hardware and software vendors porting the OPEN LOOK GUI. AT&T and Sun also assist ISVs with sales calls and provide direct technical support to ISV programmers porting the interface. The UNIX Software Operation, headquartered in Morristown, NJ, is a global supplier of open systems software, including the UNIX System V operating system, to industrial vendors. The business unit is part of AT&T's Data Systems Group.
