This is a three day technical conference focusing on Sun's recently announced OpenWindows technology, and graphics hardware and software. Presented by Sun's key product designers, the conferences will provide attendees with information on the latest developments in these technologies and an overview of Sun's solutions. The conference format will consist of an overview summarizing the issues, trends and current research followed by detail-driven analyses of individual topics. Case studies, product demonstrations and question and answer sessions will be included in the program. You'll receive copies of all presentation materials and supporting documentation, including the latest versions of the OPEN LOOK GUI Specifications and Style Guide. The cost is $600 per attendee. Day 1: Day 1 kicks off the conference with an overview of strategy, directions and products, followed by in-depth technical presentations on the OPEN LOOK Graphical User Interface, the X11/NeWS Server, and Open Fonts technology. Day 2: The second day focuses on toolkits and tools designed to increase productivity. Presentations include XView: An OPEN LOOK user Interface Toolkit, Migrating from SunView to XView, DeskSet: An OPEN LOOK Desktop Environment, and more.
