Configuring Sun StorEdge L7 and StorEdge L8 Tape Libraries in Solstice Backup 
(SBU) Version 6.1
 
Chapter 3 of the SBU Version 6.1 Installation Guide covers the procedure for 
installing and configuring an "Autochanger" device with SBU.  As noted in the
documentation, the "jbconfig" command is used to perform the configuration.
This is the procedure that should be used to install and configure the Sun
StorEdge L7 or L8 tape libraries for use with SBU.
 
Both the StorEdge L7 and StorEdge L8 tape libraries can be ordered with an 
optional bar code reader (i.e., Option# SG-XBARCODE-L7 or SG-XBARCODE-L8).  
With this patch installed, the SBU "jbconfig" should correctly configure the
L7 and L8 tape libraries.  Following the installation of this patch, it may
be necessary to run the jbconfig command.  Refer to the instructions in the
SBU 6.1 Installation Guide, as noted above.
 
NOTE: If you do not have a Sun StorEdge L7 or L8 Tape Library installed, it's
not necessary to install this Patch.
