Fixed "can't change schema" problem. Unfortunately, old schemas may not work any more. Sorry! Create new ones from the existing high/medium/low examples. - Fixes to Modem stability. Modem connections were degrading over time due to the fact the modem was not being auto reset after each call. Previously this could not be done due to the hardware configuration of the modem by the dip switches. Before installing this patch the dip switches MUST be changed. See a section later for details. - Geo dialback numbers updated - Security risk fixed for the port monitor. The new modem configuration fixes a possible security hole in the port monitors handling of the modem. Fixed in rev -02 - Modems in US only need to be reconfigured to handle modem PROM upgrade. - Fixed problem with zombie processes - Fixed bugs in some tests The following changes aren't bugs, but make the connect time shorter by building the logs before we call in: - Add crontab entry for sunremon to call rdbuildlogs. - New version of rdbuildlogs to handle cron builds of logs. - New version of phone_home script used by SyMON adds more information about customer to message. Special Install Instructions: ----------------------------- This patch should be installed on all SunRemon systems. However, the patch will reconfigure the modems for SunRemon Master configurations only. The following instructions do not apply to SunRemon Slave servers. Part of the modem installation includes the dialback number for Sun Microsystems Remon Support Center. Depending on your company's local phone system, the modem may need to pre-dial some numbers to get an external long-distance number. When prompted, please enter the phone number as the modem should dial it. You will be given the actual 10-digit phone number.
