Select a good unique name for your file archive and add there also a
version number. Something like keyboard.zip or scroll2.zip are great
examples of wrong kind of filenames. You can check various index files
to see, if "your" name is already used.

When you upload a file, make sure it gets here ok.

Most problems are caused by uploading file archives in 7-bit ASCII
mode. A file archive is a binary file and thus is must be tranferred
in 8-bit BINARY mode. In most ftp programs you just need to type
"binary" at command line, in some graphical programs you'll have to
select some menu item or find a right radiobutton.

If possible, do not use any Windows 3.x program. 90% of our problems
are caused by them.

After a possible successful upload, check the filesize. If it is not
right, the file is corrupt and you'll have to try again. Select a new
filename, you can't overwrite the old file.

Leave us a text file (archive.zip and archive.txt) with a small
description and your contact info. We test the files for viruses and
check the contents and in some cases we want to get in touch with you.

Have patience, we don't do this for profit! We take care of your
uploads, when we have time.
