Visualization is an acknowledged technique, not only for sports, but for practice development and behavioural changes, as well. Therefore, I find it odd that the exercises described here emphasize simple concentration, relaxation, and past review. The tools given in the book are an excellent starting point for those who have no prior experience with mental techniques. The steps are easy, and the development slow. However, just when I thought we would be looking at advanced practise and the improvement of skills, the book summarises and ends. The exercises are good for relaxation and confidence building, but not much more. copyright Robert M.
