REVIEW: CD-ROM - CINEMANIA '95       Microsoft

If you are a true film lover - this incredible interactive movie guide is
a virtual bonanza of information.  The sources for CINEMANIA'95 include
Leonard Maltin's MOVIE AND VIDEO GUIDE 1995 containing more than 19,000
reviews, Roger Ebert's VIDEO COMPANION 1995 featuring over 1,700 reviews and
Pauline Kael's 5001 NIGHTS AT THE MOVIES with more than 2,500 reviews.  In
addition, CINEMANIA'95 features articles, reviews and a glossary of film
terminology from various film books including THE FILM ENCYCLOPEDIA, THE
MOTION PICTURE GUIDE, HOW TO READ A FILM and THE ENCYCLOPEDIA OF FILM.  

The end result is a total film and video reference on a CD-ROM.  In addition
to over 20,000 film and video titles reviewed, this comprehensive and 
easy-to-use interactive movie guide gives you virtually everything you'd ever
want to know about motion picture and video films.  It's the perfect guide
to the entertainment treasures available at your local video store.  The
CINEMANIA SUGGESTS feature provides a neat method of selecting a video
to watch - simply select the appropriate mode and spin the wheel in case
you are undecided.  If you are really undecided, you can select the 
"miscellaneous" mood, "pull" the handle (electronically, of course) and
see what comes up.  You can, of course, search the film review database 
manually by title, category, actor, director, release date, rating or genre.

Other features of CINEMANIA'95 include over 4,000 biographies (2000 have
photo clips), 1000 movie stills, 168 dialog clips and 139 music tracks.
