Date: Tue, 9 May 1995 06:45:00 -800 (PST) From: Ken Rogoway About HomeBrew Software HomeBrew Software was formed in 1992 primarily as a shareware game company. Our first product was GateWorld, a side scrolling platform game. HomeBrew Software has recently moved into the retail market in addition to its shareware product line. Over the last three years we have added over fifteen game titles to our product line from outside developers, while doing three of our own. Recently we added a sound library (DSIK) for developers using Watcom C/C++ in protected mode DOS. We also distribute a E! for Windows, a programmers editor. Our current in-house projects include a 3D game that we are targeting for DOS, Windows, and OS/2, and another side-scrolling platform game. Outside projects that we are assisting with include a fast action top down shooter, a cool 3D racing game, a Pinball game, and an awesome platform game. All of these games should be released during the next four to six months. Our two most recent releases are Flying Tigers (version 2.1) and Rollin (version 1.1). Flying Tigers is a great fast action shooter were you are sent back to 1942 to battle the techno- terrorists who have traveled back in time to change history. Rollin is a thought provoking action puzzle game by the author of Brix. Both games can be found at the sites listed below. HomeBrew Software's games can be found on America Online (tm) (Keyword: PC Games), CompuServe (tm) (GO PBSARC), Software Creations BBS (File Area 195), and anonymous FTP ftp://ftp.netcom.com/pub/ho/homebrew/games In addition to publishing products developed independently, HomeBrew Software is always looking for talented programmers, artists, musicians, and game designers to assist with in-house development.
