In fewer than eighty pages, less than half of them text, you have a very quick overview of data communications. While the majority of the illustrations add little to the concepts being presented, overall this book works reasonably well. It certainly is easily accessible and nonthreatening. The material is extremely limited, but many longer and more tedious books give no more accurate information than does this. As a quick introduction to network and data communications concepts, this may be handy to the busy executive starting with a related project. copyright Robert M.
